Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina exercised her voting right at the Dhaka City College center in the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election. She cast her vote promptly at 8 AM as the balloting commenced. The Dhaka City College center is situated within the Dhaka-10 constituency, covering Dhanmondi, Hazaribagh, New Market, and Kalabagan thanas.
Accompanied by her younger sister Sheikh Rehana, daughter Saima Wazed, and Sheikh Rehana’s son Radwan Mujib Siddiq, the prime minister arrived at the polling center at 7:55 AM. Dhallywood actor Ferdous Ahmed, contesting on the Awami League ticket from Dhaka-10 constituency, welcomed the premier at the center.
The voting process will continue until 4 PM without any interruption, as the Election Commission has made comprehensive preparations to ensure free, fair, and peaceful elections nationwide.
