Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his eagerness to collaborate closely with Bangladesh’s Interim Government Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, on matters of mutual interest, spanning both bilateral and multilateral areas.
In a letter addressed to Prof Yunus, which was shared by the Chief Adviser’s office on Monday, Sharif emphasized the importance of enhancing regional cooperation for the socio-economic development of the people of South Asia.
“We need to actively explore ways to boost regional cooperation, which is crucial for the socio-economic progress of South Asia,” Sharif stated in his letter.
Pakistan is keen to forge stronger relations with Bangladesh, aimed at benefiting the citizens of both nations. “We earnestly desire to develop robust bilateral relations with Bangladesh that can serve the interests of our two peoples and bring about a meaningful change in their lives,” Sharif expressed.
The Pakistan PM also highlighted the value Pakistan places on its relationship with Bangladesh, referring to the country as a brotherly Muslim nation and a key partner in the South Asian region
