The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested former Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi during an overnight operation in the Gulshan area of the capital city.
According to Senior Assistant Director of RAB’s Legal and Media section, Senior ASP ANM Imran Khan, the arrest took place at 1:15 AM at a residence in Gulshan-1.
Munshi has been detained on charges related to the killing of Muslim Uddin Milon, a jewelry shop worker, who was shot during the anti-discrimination student movement.
